Server 2008 Task Scheduler

i have series of tasks have been running 3 years no problem.  after installing windows updates have started problems.  tasks run after reboot, , 3 days after reboot, fail again.  i've checked recommended ms problem persists. 

i've noticed on reboot message system event log full.  there connection?  have cleared event logs message persists.
