Rectangular shape does not fully overlay the A4 page? Printing the shape leaves a blank stripe
hello,
i have page rectangular shape want use background page. page has a4 format.
i've drawn shape, put background , set shape size 210 × 297 millimeters (i use metric system).
when opened in word, shape looks well, leaves no blank stripe @ bottom of page:
however, when save document pdf document (not print save pdf, that's important), a small blank stripe @ bottom of page if shape did not apply whole page:
why that? must 21 x 29.7 cm. set 21 x 29.8, yet occurs not enough , 29.8 , shape becomes cut when saved in pdf.
it looks shape anchor is not placed in top-left corner. , not aligned (0.0;0.0) rather aligns (-.5;-.5) or so. because if set shape size 21.0 x 29.7, vertical margin well:
it looks when group shape, background overlaps grouping shape, there's transparent shape lies behind background. here shapes.
if ungroup shapes, background shape:
why 0.0;0.0 isn't top left corner? how set horizontal , vertical positions of shape top left corner aligns top left corner of page?
for curious ones, i've checked page size, , it's set a4:
thank you.
well world live in , these hands we're given...
is there difference if specify measurements relative *page* (and not relative column , paragraph indicated in screen shot of layout dialog box)?
