Error Activating Windows Server 2012 R2 Virtual Machine

greetings,

i have windows server 2012 r2 standard vm running on hyper-v (windows server 2012 r2 datacenter). i'm attempting activate windows using automatic virtual machine activation described here: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn303421.aspx. i'm getting following error:

under automatic vm activation client information, host machine name other node in cluster (not 1 it's running on). don't think matters thought i'd mention it. server manager shows "not activated" product activation. appreciated, thanks!

i think found cause. technet blog states hyper-v host must activated. hyper-v host in case isn't activated. should resolve issue.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905
