Error about root certificate not being trusted when connecting from OS X to Windows

when connecting windows 7 enterprise host mountain lion, getting following message:

verify certificate

you connecting rdp host 'name_of_remote_pc'! certificate verified through certificate chain self-signed root certificate present in message, root certificate not known, trusted root certificate. connection might not secure, want continue?

any idea what's going on?

this has worked without error when using older microsoft remote desktop client.

install certificate , mark trusted in keychain, older rdp client had option disable cert alerts


Windows Server  >  Remote Desktop clients
