Sharing Files and Folders
hi,
we small organization of 75 users, on windows os (xp, vista, & 7). looking solve our problem of sharing information each other, , having central (always available) data repository.
the 75 users are spread unevenly on 5 locations. not have server os running in organization; we do not have client/server environment. towards azure solve problem in following way, unsure if feasible, or best solution - request inputs please.
we can have windows server standard edition, and make it a domain controller. create accounts 75 users present across offices, on domain controller. put our files (documents, spreadsheets, presentations, pdfs, autocad drawings, , others) on azure storage, , in nas storage box in desired hierarchy of folders & sub-folders. authenticate users (over lan local users, and over vpn for other users) by the domain controller to access the files stored on nas storage lan users, , azure storage other users. , local nas storage box getting synced azure storage continuously. having everywhere, anytime, speedy, , easy access of information users. but, not sure if possible, , if possible, how? also, information inside files made searchable in solution?
another solution opt sharepoint online, , have our files stored in desired hierarchy of folders & sub-folders under site collections, etc. 75 users.
yet solution have through amazon s3 service, or without using newly launched iam (identity , access management) service. want look at solution in case it's best 1 for our scenario.
having central storage @ 1 location, , providing access users (inside , outside) not me economical. require have big bandwidth pipeline in central location. , require to see there no downtime of nas storage or internet connectivity @ location, in method of solving it.
i request inputs considering complexity, implementation time, cost, , appropriate in our scenario. additional inputs more welcome.
regards

it looks have posted question in multiple forums:
if question related cloud services, stick first question in windows azure platform forums.
anyway, if don’t have ad, can create ad domain manage ad resources. you can share data , configure permission using ad users , groups. do have specific question permission configuration?
