Second NIC "not working properly" if it is not in the iBFT under iSCSI boot

hi,

i encountered strange problem when booting server 2012 via iscsi initiator.  the problem affects servers have more 1 nic.

i determined through experimentation if iscsi boot solution not write nic ibft (iscsi boot firmware table), windows not start nic.  the nic's properties in device manager "this device not working because windows cannot load drivers required device. (code 31)"  however, if nic placed ibft (along 1 used iscsi boot), said message not appear , nic function correctly.

this problem impacts systems booting via popular gpxe , ipxe network boot programs, since programs not place additional nics ibft.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
