NAP Deprecated in 2012 R2

we deploy nap in 2500 user environment , came across following

in there shows nap deprecated in 2012 r2...

can tell me replacement or idea roadmap effort seems might wasted.


hi,

there no direct replacement nap check device health before joining network. recommendation use wsus , sccm updates , compliance monitoring.

the problem, understand it, network devices nowadays increasingly diverse , cannot run nap agent service (required nap) appropriate sha/shv pairs monitor unique device settings. byod scenario (bring own device) not supported service nap , every network these days must support kind of guest device connection.

sorry support nap not continue. surprised me when first heard deprecation.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
