DC recommendation for Hyper-V 2012 Cluster setup

hey

i have read lot of forum posts , blogs running dc virtual machine on hyper-v 2012 cluster.

it looks everybody warn about, running dc on same hyper-c cluster, witch controls.

can tell me why?

hi,

the active directory service ‘highly available’ in design , not need failover cluster high availability. never recommended allowed install active directory service in cluster nodes server prior windows server 2012, windows server 2012 it’s not allowed.

although can put dc in hyper-v cluster guest vm, it’s recommended put dc outside of cluster.

since vms placed on shared storage , access granted through cluster, cluster may won’t come online play.

DFSR RPC replication errors 5014 1726 with large files over VPN
