USB Dymo labelprinter redirection problem

we have older hp ml370 server running ts w2003. tried usb redirection hp t5145 linux client usb printer not appear on server. checked client's redirection settings , redirected, set dymo labelprinter on the rdp connections settings still no show. read t5145 linux problems, i tried on windows ce thin client with setting usb redirection all.  again no show.  both thin client terminals have usb mouses , keyboards no issues.

i checked windows server device manager on server this hardware has no usb ports, has no usb  controller in device manager. problem? there way resolve this?

i tried rdp connection to our new in test w2008 r2 hyper-v rds server go live, usb printer not show here either. checked w2003 gpo have no settings disallow.

how can troubleshoot this?

frist, if need redirect local print windows server 2003, print driver needs installed on server side , it should compatible windows server 2003.

 

 

second, said there no usb devices hp thin clients appear redirected, hence i’m assuming issue caused the system of hp thin client. suggest using windows os test whether issue exists, such windows vista or 7. furthermore, please contact hp ask if have update thin client , what is.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905
