Cant find Enterprise Admins Security Group ? Pls help

hello

i have notices have 1 active directory dc configured global catalog server 2008r2 standard

i promote new installed dc windows server 2012 , got error i'm not in enterprise administrators sec. group

so started search dident found on ad domaincontroller gc server or on other domain controller not global catalog server.

i have compared other dc- servers have security group.

so pls 1 have anwser? or have or had simlar case?

or enterprise admins security group not default security group (the type of group universal)

you need check ent. admin gruop in respective user account using promote server 2012 dc. let me guide you, go properties of user account==select member of tab== search ent admin group there. if don't see click on add button , type enterprise in search box , click check name you'll see multiple enterprise admin groups. select ent admin click ok. need add schema admin group respective user promote 2012 dc.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

hi thr, could please me understand causing such event logs generate ? as  i understand, vssvc.exe pertains volume shadow copy used backup purpose.  we have third party application used taking backup of servers. the event longs generated following messages: 1) attempt made unregister security event source. 2) attempt made register security event source. these events not regular generated on random days. standard fields: date:               2013/10/19 time:               02:32:19 importance:         critical rule name:          security event monitored machine:  <domain controller> log format:         windows log name:           security event id:           4905 in work hours:      yes dynamic fields: internal timestamp: 2013/10/19 ...

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
