unable to access CSV from cluster host that is not owner (Logon Failure)
good morning,
i have 3 node hyper-v failover cluster (trying add 4th node) connected emc vnxe 3100 san
the cluster has 5 networks (all have smb enabled)
cluster management (cluster use: enabled)
hb-csv 1 (cluster use: internal) metric = 800
hb-csv 2 (cluster use: internal) metric = 900
iscsi 1 (cluster use: disabled)
iscsi 2 (cluster use: disabled)
3 nodes called vh1-4 (vh2 still not joined cluster)
there 2 csvs @ 2tb each. c:\custer\volume1 , volume2. both of online. quorum online also.
vh3 owner of volume1 , can access it
vh4 owner of volume2 , can access it
if node not owner, cannot access error (logon failure: unknown username or password)
i have physical domain controller has master roles , servers can ping it. have second domain controller vm in cluster.
what issue?
make sure "cluster name" resource online. seeing csv uses smb protocol between nodes , need authenticate. use cno common identity. getting logon failure cno... make sure cno online. may want take cluster name offline/online again. or may need 'repair' resync password computer object.
thanks!
