Powershell 1.0 Installation failure

i'm trying install powershell 1.0 on win2k3 sp2 server

the short version is: trying install ps 1.0 , getting error "an error in updating system has occurred".... in log files gives me

i need have ps installed in order install sql server 2008 (express)

any appreciated

 

and longer version....

i'm attempting install sql server ex 2008 requires powershell 1.0

the sql installation failed , led kb article suggested cryptographic services not running or else powershell installation corrupt.i checked , found cryptographic services running , moved powershell option.

when tried reinstall powershell (over existing installation) told previous version existed , should uninstall first located , uninstalled powershell add/remove software applet.

and when try reinstall message stated above ... :-/

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
