NFS Gateway Functionality with 2008R2???

hello, using windows services unix 3.5 on 2003 sp2. need do. i've been task creating similar environment using 2008r2. no such luck. gateway nfs removed in 2008. long story short, i've done lot of research cannot find way implement similar gateway nfs using windows 2008. missing or not option more? if there still way accomplish please let me know. need windows servers map nfs shares on unix servers via gateway.

domain 2003 native, can't go 2008 @ point.

according research, file access across network domains function properly, each unix or linux user or group identity should map windows users or group identity. can synchronize password without using nis on linux or unix.

 

if network has user name mapping server, may use services nfs retrieve identity mappings server. don't have add standalone unix server active directory domain.

you can create unix user accounts either on nis server or in unix /etc/passwd , /etc/group files. instructions on creating /etc/passwd , /etc/group files, see documentation unix operating system.
