Folder Creation Issue Windows 7 on 2012 File Server
we have made server 2012 r2 file server running on vmware. disk used belong server 2008 server, have reconnected domain joined 2012 r2 server , shared out old shares again.
when accessing server computer - network drive, , attempt create folder error appears:
i:\ refers location unavailable "" "" "" etc...
this error appears if go level deep in folder , try create a file or folder.
here's strange part. if use net use command , create folder command line... works. if unc directly server... works. seems when using windows explorer , navigating via double click on network drive.
i've tried same on windows 8 pc , works fine. problem seems exist on windows 7. insight appreciated.
edit: recent discovery, if disable abe problem goes away. when abe enabled occur. i'd keep abe enabled however.
