Unable to open Excel files - Office 2010

hi,

i using office 2010 . whenever try open excel sheet , errror  - excel cannot open file ~$book.xltx because file format or file extension not valid . verify file not corrupted , file extension matches format of file .

once click ok, im allowed open excel sheet . not want face error everytime open excel file

 

i did google search , 1 of solution stated delete files c:/programfiles/office/ xlstart . checked , there no files in xlstart  folder . can 1 ?

you'd better off in 1 of office forums, anyway: i'm dead
sure have illegal file somewhere in autostart folders
excel. , path wrong anyway - should read
"c:\program files\microsoft office\office14\xlstart"  - @ least if
(as others do) install default location office...
