TP can you help? Very slow configuring session on server 2012 RDS environment

hello,

i have come across several posts member "tp" able resolve similar issues.

hoping still around , able me. not able find way message directly on here.

so have 2012 rds environment, dc server 2012.

when users double click rdp icon takes almost minute connect.

it gets stuck @ "configuring remote session"

i think related either fqdn, dns or certificate have had 3 people internally @ , cannot figure out. working fine when intially set servers , worked 6 months, last month, out of blue started doing this.

this has been resolve! :)

it local group policy on rds server.

computer configuration-> administrative templates -> settings -> "require use of specific security layer remote (rdp) connections"

that had somehow been enabled.

i edited setting disabled, clicked apply, edited "not configured" clicked apply.

once settings applied issue resolved.
