Loaner Laptops and AD Computer Accounts

we have loaner laptops may sit on shelf month or longer between uses. i've been told users have not been able login when in use , computer needs removed/readded domain. there timeout can adjusted before computer account goes stale? have list of computers don't show in ad , don't show being deleted. find stale computer accounts , can revived?

computer objects not automatically deleted or scavenged after number of days/months.  they should in ad unless removing them.  

you can use tool adfind joe richard's deleted objects.  florian has great blog entry on here
