I have snapshots and need expand the hard drive !

hi - have virtual machine 5 snapshots. in latest, active, virtual machine trying restore sql server database cannot because sql server says there isn't sufficient drive space....and looks it's right, i'm 1 gb short.  think of making disk fixed size, hyper v warns cannot edit disk because have snapshots.

is there way more available disk space (as registered sql server) other deleting snapshots?

thx!

delete them.
then sure power down vm , wait of snapshot files merged base vhd.  (this takes unpredictable amount of time, depending on snapshots , size).
