Guest OS installation speed and CPU memory resource

when installing guest os hyper-v or vmware guest,

if temporarily increase cpu , memory resource of vm machine, installation speed speed ?

i have noticed windows runs better 2 cpus one.  during installation, there multiple services running , having 2 cpus available may speed things slightly.  going more 2 doesn't have noticed, because of nature of tasks run.  memory use 1-2 gb.  again, i've seen slight performance improvement on 512 mb, not much.  means less hard paging has occur because more can cached.

but, not call either of these increases 'temporary'.  recommend 2 cpus , 1-2 gb of memory, after installation done.  may have special reasons drop them down, that's call based on business requirements.

Suspicious event log Event ID: 4905

DCOM received error "2147746132" from...
