hello all, i have 2 windows 2003 sp2 (32bit) domain controllers corporate domain. tasked upgrade or migrate current environment windows 2008 r2 platform can start using exchange 2010. there problems.   1. initially, exchange 2003 installed in domain exchange servers crashed , scrapped. there no exchange , host our mails through webmail provider. need bring exchange office. 2. added ad roles on windows 2008 r2 server 3. read few how introduce win 2008 r2 , installed new server windows 2008 r2 , run necessary adprep32.exe /forestprep adprep32.exe /domainprep. on windows 2003 dcs.  checked schupgr.exe , below "edited" result. current schema version 47 upgrading schema version 47 schema has been upgraded. rerun setup upgrade dc. 3. however, anytime run dcpromo.exe windows 2008 r2 server, error run adprep ....... on domain controllers again. please me resolve this. thanks. hello it seems schema upgraded since have version 47. let's check ...

hello, having trouble deciding if should using whs or windows server 2008 enterprise.  i want home server capable of running emule & bit torrent able manage both other pc.  i want server backups of 3 windows 7 machines , 2 xp machines. whs backup image 7 & xp used re-image hard drive failed or hit virus? have used either have been able this? in advance. i think got answer on whs forum leaning towards that, disagree? hi experts, i have scvmm 2012 running on windows server 2012 r1. i have custom linux vm running on 2 disks.i created vm template using vm. but have large disk of size 160gb. when deploy vm using template, copy operation taking long time of 3 hours approx. complete.this long, if run scvmm server in same windows server. any pointers on how reduce time? i disabled encryption , used bits on http. not reduce time much. thanks in advance, saleem hi saleem, " but have large disk of size 160gb ." i assume size vm occupied disk space .
